MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE

I specialise in lifestyle portraiture of families and children. Lifestyle photography means just that... capturing your family just as they are doing what they do using natural light and surroundings. Real moments are my favourite, images that tell a story, where genuine emotions shine through. These shoots can be done either outdoors or in your own home. If you choose outdoors we will meet at a local beauty spot or park, or even your own garden. If you decide on indoors we will use the rooms in your home with the best light, this is usually the sitting room or the master bedroom, or even your kitchen or child's bedroom. There's always somewhere! If its dry we can still go outside to your garden for a few too. I will give you some direction during the session, but I will not sit you all up straight and make you all smile at the camera together. In fact, I don't get too hung up on whether or not everyone is looking and smiling at the same time. Of course, I will include a few traditional portraiture images too, but mainly I will shoot natural and relaxed images and capture the emotion and connection between your family.
